His approach ranges from workshops and site visits to supporting the development of site-specific and socially engaged projects. Rather than applying a fixed model, each activity responds to the people, place and context involved.
Drawing from his experience across performance, installation and social practice, including Norwood JunKAction, Norman supports participants with little or no previous creative experience to develop ideas, experiment with materials and take an active role in shaping projects.
Work can include creative workshops, project development, site visits, participatory planning and support around community engagement.
